Dhurandhar has been receiving immense love from the audience and is on its way to becoming a smashing hit. The Ranveer Singh starrer exceeded expectations on its opening day and broke many records. On the weekend, Dhurandhar is likely to surpass new records.
Dhrandhar box office collection day 2:
According to the website Sacnilk, Dhurandhar has earned Rs 15.35 crore as per early estimates. The final numbers are yet to be revealed. It has collected more than approximately Rs 42 crore within two days.
The movie has surpassed the earnings of Saiyaara, which opened to Rs 21.50 crore, and Sikandar, which collected Rs 26 crore. Other films in this list are Housefull 5, Kantara Chapter 1, Raid 2, Sky Force, Jolly LLB 3 and Sitaare Zameen Par.
Earlier, it was reported that the movie would only earn around Rs 18-20 crore on day 1, but it proved everyone wrong.

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar is confirmed to return with a sequel. It will hit the theatres on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Eid 2026. The movie will also clash with Kannada star Yash’s next film, ‘Toxic’. It will be one of the biggest box office clashes of 2026.
It made it to headlines regarding its plot as it was rumoured that the movie is based on Major Mohit Sharma. However, director Aditya Dhar has dismissed these rumours and issued an official clarification.
He wrote on X, “Hi, sir – our film Dhurandhar is not based on the life of braveheart Major Mohit Sharma AC(P) SM. This is an official clarification. I assure you, if we do make a biopic on Mohit sir in the future, we will do it with full consent and in complete consultation with the family, and in a way that truly honors his sacrifice for the nation and the legacy it has left for all of us.”
Dhurandhar also stars Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles.
