On day 18, Dhurandhar continues historic box office run, emerging as 2025's highest-grossing Indian film after surpassing Kantara Chapter 1.

Dhurandhar released in theaters on December 5, 2025, and since then the action-thriller has been doing impressive business at the Indian box office. Aditya Dhar’s film earned Rs 28 crore on its opening day. And then, its momentum didn’t slow down. For 17 days, Dhurandhar smashed multiple records; the film outperformed even the best-known films in Bollywood. Let’s take a look at the detailed box office report of Dhurandhar.

Starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and Sara Arjun, Dhurandhar was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 280 crore. Aditya Dhar’s second directorial venture crossed RS 555 crore in India in 17 days and Rs 847 crore worldwide. Now the collection seen on the 18th day may slow down the earnings at the box office.

According to Sacnik, Dhurandhar collected around Rs 16 crore on its 18th day, the third Monday, which was the lowest in its history. The total has now risen to Rs 571.75 crore, meaning it will need to work a little harder to reach RS 600 crore. It may benefit from this on December 25th. However, with Kartik Aaryan taking the field that day, it’s difficult to predict.

Dhurandhar has surpassed Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1’s worldwide collection of Rs 852.31 crore and has become the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025. Now Dhurandhar needs to beat Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, which earned Rs 915 crore worldwide at the box office.

If we look at the collections of both films on Day 17, there’s a significant difference. While Sandeep Reddy’s film earned Rs 14.5 crore, Aditya Dhar’s film earned Rs 38.5 crore.
