Dhurandhar has turned into one of the biggest box office successes of the year. In just over two weeks, the Aditya Dhar directed film has crossed Rs 845 crore worldwide, making it the highest earning Hindi film of 2025 so far.
The film performed especially well in its third weekend in India, earning over Rs 95 crore net in three days. This has taken its total India collection to Rs 555.75 crore net, or around Rs 666.75 crore gross. Dhurandhar is also doing well overseas, with international earnings close to $20 million.

After 17 days in theatres, the film’s worldwide total stands at Rs 845 crore. It has gone past Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava and has continued to attract audiences even on weekdays, showing that its success is steady and not just limited to the opening days.

Dhurandhar is now close to becoming the highest grossing Indian film of the year. It has already beaten Chhaava’s lifetime collection of Rs 807 crore and is nearing Rishab Shetty’s Kantara, which earned Rs 852 crore worldwide. Trade experts believe the film could cross Rs 900 crore this week and may reach Rs 1000 crore before the year ends if it keeps performing at the same pace.

The story centres on Hamza Ali Mazari, who is later revealed to be Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an undercover agent sent to Lyari in Pakistan to break into a Baloch gang led by Rehman Dakait, played by Akshaye Khanna. After the film’s big success, the makers have already announced a sequel, which is set to release in theatres on March 19, 2026.
