Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, is doing extremely well at the box office. The film grossed more on its third Saturday than Friday, further strengthening its hold over the weekend. With this, the film has crossed the Rs 500 crore mark in India.
How much did the film earn in its third week?
Dhurandhar earned Rs 483 crore net in the first 15 days. After a record-breaking second week, the third week also had a strong start. The film earned Rs 22.50 crore net on Friday, while the situation improved further on Saturday. 32% occupancy in morning shows was double the 16% occupancy on Friday. By 9 pm, the film’s net earnings reached Rs 29 crore, bringing its total domestic total to Rs 512.82 crore, according to Sacnilk.
The film is now closing in on blockbusters like Gadar 2 (Rs 525 crore), Pathan (Rs 543 crore), and Animal (Rs 553 crore). Experts predict that Dhurandar could surpass these films by Sunday night and join the top three domestic grossers: Stree 2 (Rs 598 crore), Chhaava (Rs 601 crore), and Jawaan (Rs 640 crore). Trade analysts believe the film could cross the Rs 700 crore mark, making it the first Hindi film to do so.

The story centres on Hamza Ali Mazari, who is later revealed to be Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an undercover agent sent to Lyari in Pakistan to break into a Baloch gang led by Rehman Dakait, played by Akshaye Khanna. After the film’s big success, the makers have already announced a sequel, which is set to release in theatres on March 19, 2026.
