Dhurandhar has become a blockbuster and is still unstoppable even after entering second. Its excellent performances and plot have forced the audience to watch the film in theatres. On second Saturday, Dhurandhar achieved another big milestone in Bollywood’s entire history and surpassed other blockbusters like Animal and Jawan.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared that Dhurandhar has created history to have the highest earnings on the second Saturday in Hindi cinema. The movie earned Rs 53.70 crore on the second Saturday and has surpassed Chhaava, Stree 2, Animal, Jawan, Gadar 2, Saiyaara and The Kashmir Files. The movie has even defeated the Hindi collection of Pushpa 2 and Baahubali 2.

Meanwhile, the movie has already surpassed the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office in India. Dhurandhar reached this milestone only in nine days, whereas Chhaava and Saiyaara earned this in 10 and 17 days, respectively.
As per reports, Dhurandhar has been banned in six Gulf countries: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The makers reportedly tried to release the film in these nations but did not get clearance due to its sensitive topic and anti-Pakistan theme. A source was quoted as saying by Bollywood Hungama, “There were apprehensions that this would happen as the film is perceived as an ‘anti-Pakistan film’. The team still made an attempt, but none of the countries approved the film’s theme. That’s why Dhurandhar hasn’t been released in any Gulf territory.”
Earlier, movies like Article 370, Tiger 3, Fighter, Sky Force, The Kashmir Files, The Diplomat and some others faced a ban. The ban on Dhurandhar in Gulf nations is a big setback for the film as these countries are a huge market for Indian cinema. Despite these setbacks, the movie has already crossed the Rs 300 crore mark in India.
The movie stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role with Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. It is directed by Aditya Dhar, best known for his incredible work in URI: The Surgical Strike.
