Yash-starrer ‘Toxic’ is now officially confirmed to clash with Dhurandhar 2 in theatres. It can also be regarded as one of the biggest box office clash of 2026. Yash posted an exciting poster of Toxic on Instagram, starting a 100-day countdown before its release.
Sharing the poster, he wrote in the caption, “The Fairy Tale unfolds in 100 days #Toxic.”
Both Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic will arrive on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Eod 2026. Not much has been revealed about Toxic yet. It is Yash’s first project after KGF Chapter 2.
Talking about the sequel of Dhurandhar, the makers announced the film and its release date in the post-credit scene.
Earlier, the movie made it to headlines regarding its plot as it was rumoured that the movie is based on Major Mohit Sharma. However, director Aditya Dhar has dismissed these rumours and issued an official clarification.
He wrote on X, “Hi, sir – our film Dhurandhar is not based on the life of braveheart Major Mohit Sharma AC(P) SM. This is an official clarification. I assure you, if we do make a biopic on Mohit sir in the future, we will do it with full consent and in complete consultation with the family, and in a way that truly honors his sacrifice for the nation and the legacy it has left for all of us.”
Meanwhile, the movie also stars Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. It is directed by Aditya Dhar, best known for his incredible work in URI: The Surgical Strike.
