Veteran actor Dharmendra has been discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital after being admitted for a few days. He fell victim to the death hoax, but his family assured that the actor is stable and recovering. His team has shared an official statement and requested the public and media to refrain from any further speculation regarding his health.
The statement read, “Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you.”
Earlier, his wife Hema Malini slammed the death rumours of Dharmendra and requested privacy in the tough times. She wrote on X, “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.”

His daughter Esha Deol also shared a note on Instagram in which she assured that her father, Dharmendra, is stable and recovering. She wrote, “The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papas speedy recovery. Esha Deol.”
Meanwhile, Dharmendra will return to the big screen with the film ‘Ikkis’. He will share the screen space with his co-star and friend Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. Ikkis is scheduled to release in December 2025.
