When Dharmendra was first taken to the hospital, reports suggest that he had breathing problems. According to media reports, Dharmendra passed away due to age-related health issues. He died at his home in Juhu, surrounded by his family. The actor had been facing health problems for some time and had reduced his public appearances.
Dharmendra is survived by his first wife, Prakash Kaur; his sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol; his second wife, Hema Malini; and his daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. Dharmendra began experiencing difficulty breathing, after which he was admitted to the ICU. This is regarded as a common ageing problem. Breathing problems are a common issue as we age.
