Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra passed away at the age of 89 on November 24, 2025 (Monday). The legendary actor was unwell from past several days and was also admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He was later discharged and was receiving treatment at his home. The official statement from his family is still awaited.
Dharmendra’s demise marks the end of an era in Indian cinema, where he was celebrated for his iconic roles and charismatic screen presence.
Dharmendra, lovingly called He-Man of Bollywood, was one of the most successful actors in Indian film industry. In a career spanning over six decades, he gave several blockbuster movies. He is survived by his two wives, Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini and his six children.
