Dhanush’s Kuberaa Locks A Release Date Amid Title Rights Controversy; See New Poster

Kuberaa Release Date Out: Dhanush has created hype among his fans about his film 'Kuberaa' as he will be seen in a completely unrecognisable look. The movie will also star Rashmika Mandanna, Nagarjuna and Jim Sarbh in the lead roles. After much await, the makers have officially announced the release date of Kubera.

Announcing the date, the makers wrote, "A story of power..A battle for wealth.. A game of fate.. SekharKammulasKuberaa is ready to deliver an enchanting theatrical experience from ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ญ๐ก ๐‰๐ฎ๐ง๐ž, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“."

Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the music of โ€˜Kuberaaโ€™ is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

Earlier, while speaking to Cinema Vikatan, director Sekhar Kammula revealed he was intitally hestitant to narrate Kuberaaโ€™s story to Dhanush. He revealed, "When the story was ready, I was hesitant to narrate it to Dhanush. I was worried and doubted whether he knew me or not. However, when I called him, he surprised me and talked about his favorite films out of my filmography."

Earlier, its teaser was unveiled which introduced different characters. Dhanush will sport two looks in the movie. He looks unrecognisable as a slum-dweller in the video and is also seen in traditional attire towards the end. Nagarjuna is seen as a family man, whereas, Jim Sarbh will play the role of a rich businessman. Rashmika Mandanna is also seen in a different look.

The movie is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. It will release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
