New Delhi: After Kesariya, fans were eagerly waiting for Brahmastra’s second song Deva Deva. After much hype, the makers have finally released Deva Deva on August 8. the song features Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva, as he channels the inner ‘Agni’.
In the video, we also get a glimpse of Amitabh Bahchan and Alia Bhatt. But its Rnbir who steals the whole song. It’s an upbeat number sung by Arijit Singh and composed by Pritam. The devotional song has been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
Amitabh Bachchan seems to be helping Ranbir connect with his ‘light’. Ranbir is seen playing and dancing with lights and fire as the song unfolds itself to the enlightment of Shiva’s power-Agni Astra.
Deva Deva is also subtitled ‘Feel The Fire Within.’ The teaser of the song came up on August 4. Taking to her Instagram handle, Alia Bhatt shared the teaser video. Sharing the video, she captioned it, “The light is coming.’’

About Brahmastra
Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva is the first installment of the planned triology. It will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Malayalam, and Kannada in cinemas. It is directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film is all set to have a theatrical release on September 9.
Brahmastra features Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. While the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna in important roles.
The film is bankrolled by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures. Chiranjeevi has lent his voice to the Telugu trailer of Brahmastra.
It is to be mentioned, that Brahmastra marks the first collaboration between Ranbir Kapoor and his wife-actress Alia Bhatt. The duo got married on April 14 and also expecting their first child.
