Deva Box Office Collection Day 5: Shahid Kapoor returned to the theatres with his latest action film ‘Deva’ and received praise for his intense performance. Despite the hype and intense promotions, the movie has been struggling to attract the audience in theatres. Apart from Shahid, the movie also stars Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati. According to the website Sacnilk, ‘Deva’ collected Rs 2.35 crore on day 5 as per early estimates. The movie has been struggling to remain stable in theatres and has witnessed a significant drop in numbers. ‘Deva’ has collected Rs 24.25 crore in total within five days.
Ahead of the release of Deva, Shahid penned a sweet note for his fans on Instagram. He wrote, “One year of blood sweat and tears. 2024 was all DEVA !!! MERA DIL MERI JAAN. MERA KAAM MERI SHIDDAT. MERA ACTING KE LIYE PYAAR. MERI AUDIENCE KE LIYE MOHOBBAT. MERA SAALON KA EXPERIENCE MERA ANDAR KA CREATIVE BACHHA. SAB HAI IS DEVA MEIN….. Till today he was mine. From tomorrow he is yours.”

In an exclusive chat with News24 at Manthan 2024, Shahid Kapoor talked about his family and how they impact his work. Shahid reveals that his wife Mira Rajput and brother Ishaan Khatter are his biggest critics as they give their honest opinions. He further adds that his father Pankaj Kapoor, who is a renowned actor, also reviews his work. The ‘Jersey’ star called his father the ‘best actor’ and praised his dedication towards his craft.
When Shahid was praised for his impeccable dance skills, he gave credit to his mother Neelima Azeem, who is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer.
