‘Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Arc’ is currently one of the most exciting anime movies releasing around the world, and fans in India are also looking forward to it. The tickets for ‘Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Arc’ sold out within a few hours, showcasing the demand and fan following in India. Before watching the most-awaited anime film in India, here’s a quick recap of what has happened so far.
Demon Slayer Season 1:
In the first season, Tanjiro Kamado joins the Demon Slayer Corps—an organisation consisting of humans seeking to hunt down demons—after his family is slaughtered and his sister Nezuko is turned into a demon. After his family is killed, he trains with Sakonji to gain strength and finally passes the ‘Final Selection’ test to join the Demon Slayer team. In his mission to defeat a lower-ranked demon, he meets fellow demon slayers, Zenitsu and Inosuke, and develops a deep bond with them.
He also comes across Muzan Kibutsuji, who killed Tanjiro’s family. Later, he has to face a demon named Rui and defeats it with the help of his sister, Nezuko.
Demon Slayer – The Movie: Mugen Train
Tanjiro, along with his sister Nezuko and friends Zenitsu and Inosuke, board the Mugen Train to assist Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku in finding a demon onboard. Kyojura successfully defeats two demons, but everyone falls into a deep sleep due to another demon named Enmu.
Enmu is unable to destroy the core and subconscious of Tanjiro, Kyojuro, Zenitsu and Inosuke. Other passengers try to harm Tanjiro when he tries to wake them up. Meanwhile, after killing Enmu, they are all confronted by Upper Rank Three Akaza. In his intense fight with Akaza, Kyojuro gets severely injured and loses his life.
Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village Arc
Tanjiro and Nezuko travel to a hidden village called the Swordsmith Village to get his sword repaired. They meet two Hashiras- the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji. He also finds a century-old sword during his training. Later, the villagers are attacked by two powerful demons- Gyokko (Upper Rank 5) and Hantengu (Upper Rank 4).
After an intense battle and near-death experiences, Tanjiro, along with the two Hashiras and Genya, is able to defeat the demons. Nezuko also gains the ability to remain in the sunlight.
Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc:
Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc introduces different Hashiras and their powers in different episodes. Tanjiro trains with Tengen Uzui- the Sound Hashira, Muichiro Tokito- the Mist Hashira, Obanai Iguro- the Serpent Hashira, Obanai Iguro- the Serpent Hashira and Obanai Iguro- the Serpent Hashira to gain new strength for his upcoming battles.
The viewers also get to know more about Kagaya Ubuyashiki, who is the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps. Unfortunately, Kagaya and his wife are killed by Muzan, who also traps Tanjiro and everyone in the Infinity Castle. This sets up the plot for the upcoming movie ‘Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Arc’.
