In an honest conversation with Marie Claire, Deepika Padukone spoke about her experience with pregnancy and how her life has changed since becoming a mother and revealed that, “that she had a complicated pregnancy and said, “I went through a lot in the eight- nine months of being pregnant and at the time of the delivery.”
Choosing The Name Dua
Even though, their baby girl was born in September, Deepika and Ranveer did not hurry in choosing her name. The couple chose the name Dua finally in November. Describing the emotional rationale behind it, Deepika explained, “I think what was more important for us was to first hold the baby in our arms, let her kind of see this new world she’s entered into, let her personality begin to develop a little bit. It felt like a beautiful encapsulation of what she means to us and why she means what she means to us.”
As someone who is constantly in the limelight, Deepika knows well the problems that come with being a celebrity and raising a child. Through the years, she seems to have mastered the art of balancing and multitasking, having learned to shut out the world and keep her focus on her family.
