New Delhi: Amid rumours between Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s separation, the actress rubbished all the rumours as she speaks to Meghan Markle. Deepika recently, appeared on the latest episode of Meghan Markle’s podcast-Duchess of Sussex.
During the episode, Deepika was asked about the ongoing rumour. Rubbishing the news, Deepika revealed that Ranveer was away for a week due to work and he will be happy to see her as he just came back.
“My husband was at a music festival for a week and he’s just come back. So, he’s gonna be happy to see my face,” Deepika said.
Meanwhile, a week ago, Ranveer Singh took to his Instagram to post a series of pictures of himself and wife Deepika from Cannes. His move came as a response to the so-called separation rumours. Sharing the pictures, he captioned, “I just had to! #throwback #cannes #proudme Have a great show today, baby! @deepikapadukone.”

Ranveer and Deepika got married on November 14, 2018, in Italy after dating each other for six years. Earlier, a wire post on Twitter said that ”all is not well between Deepika and Ranveer.” This news started spreading rapidly on social media. But now Deepika has also sighed relief to the fans through her loving comment.
Work Front
Ranveer will be seen sharing screen space with Alia Bhatt in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, which also stars Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan. The film will release in 2023. Ranveer also has Rohit Shetty’s ‘Circus’.
On the other hand, Deepika Padukone will be seen in films like ‘Pathan’, ‘Project K’, ‘Fighter’ and ‘The Intern’.
