On Diwali, the couple shared a joint post on Instagram, featuring candid pictures of the family celebrating the festival. In the photos, the proud parents beamed with their little princess, capturing the joy of the festive moment.
Ranveer looked dapper in a beige kurta-pyjama with a matching jacket, while Deepika twinned in maroon with Dua, wearing a gown-suit accessorised with traditional jewellery. Their caption read, “दीपावली की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ”, sending festive greetings to their fans.

The couple, married in 2018, welcomed Dua on September 8, 2024, and had officially shared her name during last year’s Diwali celebrations, explaining, “Dua: meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers.”
Last month, they celebrated Dua’s first birthday, with Deepika baking a cake herself and sharing a sweet post on Instagram. “My love language? Baking a cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday!” she wrote.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh is gearing up for Dhurandhar (December 6) and Don 3, while Deepika Padukone is preparing for Atlee’s next film with Allu Arjun following her maternity break.
