New Delhi: Hugh Jackman is coming back as the Wolverine in ‘Deadpool 3’ and that’s the tea. Ryan Reynolds announced the actor’s highly anticipated return as the character in a that ‘Deadpool 3’ in a video while sharing the release date of the film. ‘Deadpool 3’ will release in theatres on September 6, 2024. “Hard keeping my mouth sewn shut about this one,” Ryan Reynolds captioned the post. Reynolds says in the video, “I’ve had to really search my soul on this one. His first appearance in the MCU obviously needs to feel special. We need to stay true to the character, find new depth, motivation, and meaning. Every ‘Deadpool’ needs to stand out and stand apart. It’s been an incredible challenge that has forced me to reach down deep inside. And I…I have nothing. Yeah, just completely empty up here. And terrifying. But we did have one idea.””Hey, Hugh, you want to play Wolverine one more time?” Reynolds asks as Jackman walks by in the background. “Yeah, sure, Ryan,” Jackman replies.

The video ends with Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” — subtitled as “I will always love Hugh”. The Deadpool logo appears, then is quickly sliced up by Wolverine’s adamantium claws.
There are numerous rumours that, despite the character’s comeback, another actor might take over. There hasn’t been any proof of this, though.
