Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep has responded to the Darshan fan murder case, expressing his feelings. Sudeep, who had a close relationship with Darshan Thoogudeepa in the past, called for justice for the victim Renuka Swamy, as well as for his wife and unborn child. He also expressed hope that the Kannada film industry would be exonerated from any blame during the investigation. Sudeep emphasized his desire for a swift resolution to the case.
Sudeep informed the media that he and his team are keeping up with the case through media reports since they are not directly visiting the police station for updates. He acknowledged the efforts of both the media and the police in uncovering the truth, expressing confidence in their dedication to the investigation.
Sudeep expressed his concern for Renuka Swamy’s family, stating that they deserve justice. He emphasized that Renuka Swamy herself, who tragically passed away, and her unborn child also deserve justice. Sudeep stressed the importance of having faith in the judicial process and ensuring that justice prevails in this case.

Sudeep acknowledged that the case has cast a negative light on the film industry. He expressed hope for a swift resolution and for the perpetrators to face punishment. Sudeep emphasized that the industry deserves justice and should be cleared of any blame. He pointed out that many artists are involved in the industry, and it’s not fair to blame the entire industry for the actions of a few. Sudeep believes that the film industry will feel relieved once the culprit is punished.
Darshan, along with his close friend Pavithra Gowda and 13 associates, has been arrested in connection with the murder of Renukaswamy. Her body was found near a storm-water drain with multiple injury marks on June 9. According to reports, Darshan, who is popularly known as “Challenging Star,” was enraged by Renukaswamy after he allegedly sent obscene messages and images to Pavithra Gowda, who is 33 years old.
