Custody box office collection Day 3: The bilingual film Custody, which also marked Naga Chaitanya’s Tamil film debut, is in Tamil and Telugu. The Venkat Prabhu-directed cop drama earned varying ratings from critics and viewers. The movie’s opening weekend take of Rs 3.2 crore was depressing. The movie barely made Rs 7 crore in its opening weekend collections because of a drop in ticket sales.

The movie starring Naga Chaitanya made Rs 3.2 crore in India on its opening day in both languages. This was modest. Typically, the first weekend of a movie’s release will experience an increase in ticket sales. However, Custody had a significant decline and only made about Rs 3 crore on Saturday and Sunday. Early estimates indicate that Custoday made Rs 1.75 crore on Sunday. This brings the total amount raised to Rs 6.63 crore in India.
