Pankaj Tripathi has received praise for his character, Madhav Mishra, in the series Criminal Justice. After a long wait, Tripathi is back with the new season of the series. The much-awaited series has dropped its season 4 teaser today. Meanwhile, he will be seen with a brand new cast including Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Surveen Chawla.
The makers have announced that the series will stream on May 22 on JioHotstar.
In the teaser of Criminal Justice Season 4, Surveen Chawla is seen knocking on Pankaj Tripathi aka Madhav Mishra’s door, asking for help. “Madhav Mishra? I need a lawyer,” she says. The teaser begins to build suspense as Pankaj states that the case is not as easy as it looks, or it would not have come to him. The teaser also shows Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in an interesting role. This time, the plot revolves around a steamy love affair and a shocking murder, pushing the limits to their peak. With the release of the teaser on Instagram, the makers wrote in a caption, “Seedha aur simple toh Madhav Mishra ji ke syllabus mein hai hi nahi. Not long after the release of the teaser, fans showed their excitement for the series. One user commented, “Just yesterday I commented that it’s taking sooo long for the next season to come!!” Another fan expressed that he has been waiting for so long for the new season and wrote, “Was waited for so long for this season.. finally it’s happening. #mishrajiis back.” “Can’t wait for another hit series .. hats off to Pankaj sir” another user wrote.
Criminal Justice season 4 is directed by Rohan Sippy and produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India. Alongside Pankaj Tripathi, the star cast includes Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Surveen Chawla, Mita Vashisht, Asha Negi, Shweta Basu Prasad, Khushboo Atre, and Barkha Singh in major roles.
The series Criminal Justice is adapted from the 2008 British courtroom drama of the same name. The first season of Criminal Justice was released in 2019, featuring Tripathi, Vikrant Massey, Jackie Shroff and Anupriya Goenka. The second installment of the series was aired in 2020 and the third installment came out in August 2022. All seasons of Criminal Justice are helmed by Rohan Sippy.
