Crew 2 on cards with Kareena Kapoor; Tabu and Kriti Sanon to be replaced? What we know

Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon teamed up for the comedy film ‘Crew’, which was loved by the audience. The makers are now reportedly working on its sequel and are currently in the process of brainstorming ideas for ‘Crew 2’. According to Pinkvilla, Kareena has shown interest in the sequel and is waiting to hear the screenplay.

A source close to the development shared, “Crew as a franchise has strong potential to lead itself to a franchise. The team have brainstormed several ideas, and finally zeroed down on one which has the potential to seamlessly lead itself into a Crew 2.”

“Kareena has already shown interest in Crew 2, and is waiting to hear the full screenplay before signing the dotted lines. Things are in the nascent stages at the moment, but the entire team is excited to take the franchise route for Crew,” the source added.

Further talking about Tabu and Kriti Sanon’s involvement in ‘Crew 2’, the source revealed, “The idea at the moment is to make Crew 2 with 3 A-List actresses. Kareena is certain to make a comeback to the world of Crew, and the other details are under-wraps for now.”

The movie is produced by Ekta Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Digvijay Purohit under Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network. It also starred Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma in supporting roles.

‘Crew’ focused on three air hostesses, who get involved in a gold smuggling operation. It is streaming on Netflix.
