The CBI subsequently approached the Bombay High Court in an attempt to stop the release of the series.
During a prior hearing on February 22, a division bench comprising Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Manjusha Deshpande instructed the creators of the series to organize a special screening for the CBI, as per media reports.
Netflix's Senior Counsel, Ravi Kadam, informed the court that the series features interviews with five witnesses, including Mikhail (Sheena's brother) and Vidhie Mukerjea, who is Indrani's daughter with Peter Mukerjea.
