Costao Trailer: ‘Old Nawazuddin Is Back’, Say Fans As Actor Returns To Intense Action

The film follows the gripping story of a customs officer, Costao Fernandes, who dares to bust a powerful gold smuggling racket only to be betrayed by the very system he swore to protect.

Set in 1990s Goa, the film follows the gripping story of a customs officer, Costao Fernandes, who dares to bust a powerful gold smuggling racket only to be betrayed by the very system he swore to protect.

Nawazuddin’s portrayal of a man caught between duty and injustice has impressed the audience very much. Fans flooded the trailer’s comment section with praise. One fan exclaimed, “Old Nawazuddin is back. Now it will be fun.” Another commented, “Nawazuddin is on fire,” while a third wrote, “Truly one of the best performances I’ve seen. Directed by debutant Sejal Shah, the film also stars Priya Bapat, Kishore Kumar G, Gagan Dev Riar, and Hussain Dalal. Costao is presented by Bhanushali Studios Limited in association with Bombay Fables Motion Pictures and will premiere on ZEE5 on 1st May.

With its gripping plot, intense action, and Nawazuddin’s signature screen presence, Costao is going to be one of the most anticipated OTT releases of the year.

Nawazuddin is also gearing up for Raat Akeli Hai 2, the sequel to the 2020 noir thriller also starring Chitrangda Singh and directed by Honey Trehan.
