Just days after reports claimed that Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson had parted ways after being together for eight years, the Coldplay frontman stunned fans by publicly mentioning Dakota Johnson’s upcoming film Materialists during his recent concert.
At a recent concert, Martin paused mid-show to say, “Big love to everyone. Don’t forget to see Materialists. We love you” he waves and walks backstage, as fans cheer in the background.
Shared by gossip account Deuxmoi, the clip instantly blew up with fans screaming, and it was captioned: “THEY’RE NOT BROKEN UP”

This comes right after sources told PEOPLE the couple had quietly split after nearly 8 years together, calling it “final this time.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Dakota is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie ‘Materialists’ with Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal. The movie is scheduled to release worldwide on June 13 and will showcase Dakota in a love triangle with Pedro and Chris.
Whereas, Chris Martin is currently on his world tour concerts with other Coldplay members. The band recently performed at Stanford. Coldplay had a five-day show in India in January 2025.
