The Coldplay kiss cam scandal was all anyone could talk about on social media a few months back. For the unversed, Kristin Cabot and Andy Byron, the former HR executive and CEO of Astronomer, respectively, were caught on the kiss cam as they stood embracing each other. But the moment went viral due to their reactions as they quickly tried to hide their faces. Kristin Cabot finally broke the silence months after the scandal and called the moment a 'bad decision'.
Talking about how her kids reacted to the scandal, she told The New York Times, "They were already in really bad shape, and that’s when the wheels fell off the cart. Because my kids were afraid that I was going to die and they were going to die.”

She called being with her ex-boss a 'bad decision' and said she gave up her career. She shared, "I made a bad decision and had a couple of High Noons and danced and acted inappropriately with my boss. And it's nothing. And I took accountability, and I gave up my career for that. That's the price I chose to pay."

"Even if I did have an affair, it's not anybody's business," she added.
She even slammed Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow for mocking the scandal. For the unversed, the actress did an advertisement for Astronomer, where she acted as a temporary spokesperson of the company. Criticising Gwyneth, she said, "I was such a fan of her company [Goop], which seemed to be about uplifting women. And then she did this. I thought, ‘How dare she, after the beating she got for all the conscious uncoupling stuff.' What a hypocrite."
Kristin Cabot revealed that she was already separated from her husband at the time of the controversy.
