British band Coldplay is all set to arrive in India for the concerts and the excitement of their fans is currently at its peak. It was revealed that a special guest will perform at their concert as well and the band has finally disclosed the name after creating a huge hype. Popular Indian singer Jasleen Royal will perform at the Coldplay concert and has expressed her excitement with her fans.
Announcing the news, Jasleen Royal wrote, “Dreams do come true and It’s definitely going to be a sky full of stars!! Feeling dizzy announcing this. Special guest at Coldplay India Tour.”
‘Coldplay’ will perform in Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21 and in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26. The band consists of four members: Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, Will Champion, and Phil Harvey.
Chris Martin, in an interview with Zane Lowe, revealed that Coldplay will retire after making 12 albums. This heartbreaking news has made fans question if Coldplay will stop doing concerts as well after officially retiring. While speaking to Zane Lowe, Chris Martin revealed that he might collaborate with other bandmates in the future but it will be beyond touring. He explained, “So if we do something together after that creatively beyond touring, then it’ll be something different.”
The band performed in Mumbai at the Global Citizens India in 2016, with several celebrities attending. The members even shot the music video for their song ‘Hymn Of The Weekend’ in Mumbai, featuring Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor.
