Cirkus box office collection Day 5: Cirkus, a film starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Rohit Shetty, is having trouble staying afloat financially. The movie has only been in theatres for five days, yet its box office takings have been declining. Cirkus barely made Rs 3 crore on its sixth day in theatres, according to sources. The movie’s second weekend is very important because it will determine how long it plays in theatres. If the movie doesn’t keep up the pace, Cirkus’ story may come to an end.

Cirkus, starring Ranveer Singh, was one of the most eagerly awaited movies of 2022. The movie fell short of expectations while having a distinctive subject among viewers and fans.

The December 23 release of Cirkus is performing poorly at the box office. The collection has decreased each since it was published. The movie made an estimated Rs 2-3 crore on its fifth day in theatres, which is alarmingly little money for a movie starring Ranveer Singh.

About the Film

Rohit Shetty is the creator and director of the period comedy. Ranveer Singh plays two characters in the movie. The supporting cast includes Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Johnny Lever, Mukesh Tiwari, Siddhartha Jadhav, Sanjay Mishra, Murli Sharma, Sulbha Arya, and Vrajesh Hirjee. Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone both make brief appearances in the movie.

The film is based on the Hindi movie Angoor from 1982, which was a remake of Do Dooni Chaar from 1968. The latter was a remake of the Bengali movie Bhranti Bilas from 1963.
