The iconic crime-thriller series CID, starring Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, and Aditya Srivastava, will be available on Netflix soon. The show, which originally aired on Sony TV and is also streaming on Sony LIV, is now expanding its reach to a wider audience on the popular OTT platform.
When And Where To Watch CID?
The first 18 episodes of CID Season 2 will start streaming on Netflix from February 21, 2025 (Friday). New episodes will be released every Saturday and Sunday at 10 PM, starting from February 22, 2025. Fans can continue to watch the series on Sony TV and Sony LIV as well.

Alongside lead actors Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, and Aditya Srivastava, the show features Narendra Gupta, Ansha Sayed, Ajay Nagrath, and several others in key roles.

CID’s Legacy And Comeback
First premiered in 1998, CID holds a special place in Indian television history. The show ran for 20 years, reaching an impressive 1,500 episodes before concluding on October 27, 2018. After a six-year gap, CID returned for Season 2 on December 21, 2024, and is being well received by loyal fans.
As per reports, CID resumed production in Mumbai from November 2024, and fresh episodes continue to bring thrilling investigations and suspense-filled drama.
With its arrival on Netflix, the legendary show promises unlimited entertainment for both old and new fans.
