New Delhi: India’s official entry to the Oscars, Chhello Show aka The Last Show, will now release in theatres. The Gujarati film backed by Roy Kapur Films beat heavy favourite RRR and national phenomenon The Kashmir Files to find a spot. Now, movieholics will be able to watch this Pan Nalin directorial on the big screen.
Chhello Show In Theatres
Roy Kapur Films, on Wednesday took to Instagram to share the release date of the film. The film will be hitting theatres on October 14th. Sharing a trailer of the film, the production house captioned, “The cinema is more than just a place…it is an experience. And #LastFilmShow is a cinematic experience like no other. Watch India’s official entry to the #Oscars at a cinema near you on Oct 14th!”

Filmmaker Karan Johar also gave a huge shout out to the film and shared the trailer on his Instagram stories. He captioned, “An absolutely heart warming and proud feat for the entire country… LAST FILM SHOW (CHELLO SHOW) is putting us on a global map for being the official entry for India at the Oscars! A cinematic experience awaits to be unfurled,” he wrote followed with clapping emojis.
