Chhaava is now set to roar in Telugu! The Vicky Kaushal starrer period drama has been making waves across the India. After its success in Hindi-speaking regions, the film is now gearing up for a Telugu release .
The film was released two weeks ago on 14 February after which fans took to social media and requested for the Telugu version. Listening to their request, the makers have decided to bring the epic story Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj to Telugu audiences. Originally released in Hindi , Chhavva will be dubbed and theatrically released in Telugu on March 7, 2025. The Telugu version of Chhaava will be released by GA2 Pictures, a well known distribution company under Geetha Arts, a big name in south Indian cinema. They have distributed over 300 hit movies in Telugu, Hindi and English films, they are the perfect choice to bring Chhaava to Telugu audiences.

The film is Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava has been a huge success at the box office since its release on February 14. The film has been made 500 Crore worldwide, becoming the second highest grossing historical film in Hindi after Padmaavat by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In India alone, it has earned 385 crore and is expected to cross 400 crore soon. If it keeps earning at this pace, it could even reach 700 crore globally.
