Based on the life of Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Chhaava also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in the lead roles. The movie has been performing exceptionally well at the box office.

According to Sacnilk, Chhaava earned approximately ₹19.61 crore across all languages on its seventh day. This brings the total box office earnings to ₹218.36 crore. Chhaava has become the biggest solo opener of Vicky Kaushal’s career. It has far outperformed his previous hits, with his last highest opener collecting ₹8.62 crore, while ‘Uri’ had an opening of ₹8.20 crore. With this, Chhaava has set a new benchmark for the actor.
