Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 1: Vicky Kaushal is finally back in theatres with his most-awaited historical film ‘Chhaava’ and has been receiving a tremendous response for his performance. The movie is based on the life of Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Chhaava has already started breaking records at the box office as it has become the biggest opening of 2025.

According to the website, Chhaava has collected Rs 31 crore on day 1. This has surpassed the opening of Akshay Kumar-starrer Sky Force. Moreover, Chhaava has become the biggest opening of Vicky Kaushal’s career.
After the release of Chhaava, Vicky penned a sweet note for fans. He wrote, “With prayers and gratitude in our hearts… we finally bring you #CHHAAVA in cinemas TODAY! Meanwhile, Vicky also praised AR Rahman at the music launch of Chhaava. He wrote, “CHHAAVA MUSIC LAUNCH! Last night we got to witness, share and live some of that ARR magic!!! According to reports, Chhaava will release on Netflix after its theatrical run.
Vicky Kaushal played the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, who was the eldest son of Shivaji, the founder of the Maratha Kingdom. Akshaye Khanna is seen as Aurangze, the sixth Mughal emperor. Rashmika will star as Maharani Yesubai, who was the wife of Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.
