Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is coming to digital platforms soon. After its big run in cinemas, fans will be able to watch it online.
Based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s popular Chainsaw Man manga, the 2025 Japanese dark fantasy action film premiered in Japan on September 19 and in select Asian countries on September 24.
When and where to watch?
According to Forbes, SPE and Crunchyroll have announced that Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will be released on digital streaming via premium video on demand on Tuesday, December 9. Viewers will be able to watch either the film with subtitles or an English dubbed version.
The announcement didn’t mention which digital stores will offer the film, but new PVOD movies usually show up on platforms like Apple TV, Fandango at Home, Prime Video and YouTube Movies.
The price hasn’t been shared yet either, but most new digital releases cost around $19.99-$24.99 to buy, or $14.99-$24.99 to rent for 48 hours.
Voice cast
The film features the main cast from the anime, with Kikunosuke Toya voicing Denji in Japanese and Ryan Colt Levyin English. Reina Ueda and Alexis Tipton voice Reze, while Fairouz Ai and Sarah Wiedenheft return as Power. Tomori Kusunoki and Suzie Yeung play Makima, and Shogo Sakata with Reagan Murdock voice Aki. Pochita is voiced by Shiori Izawa in Japanese and Lindsay Seidel in English.
Plot
The official summary for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc reads, “Based on the hugely popular anime series, Chainsaw Man continues in an all-new epic, action-fueled adventure. Amid a brutal war between devils and hunters, another battle starts in Denji’s heart when he meets a mysterious girl named Reze. Facing secret enemies and fighting for his humanity, Denji revs up for his deadliest battle yet.”
