Ayesha Jhulka was born on 28 July 1972 in Srinagar Jammu and Kashmir. She is an Indian actress who works in Hindi, Bengali, Kannada and Telugu films. She has appeared in nearly 60 films over a career that has spanned more than three decades.

Jhulka is best known for her portrayals in successful films such as ‘Kurbaan’, ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’, ‘Khiladi’, ‘Meherbaan’, ‘Dalaal’, ‘Balmaa’ and many more. For ‘Khiladi’ and ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’, Jhulka received a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut nomination.
