What Happened To Dipika Kakar?
Recently, a video of Dipika Kakar went viral, capturing her emotional reaction to negative comments and criticism from trolls. This occurred after the judges praised her cooking.
In the promotional video, Dipika prepares a delicious Crème Brûlée Tart. She appears to be in a rush, and Chef Vikas Khanna asks if she will finish in time. Dipika responds with optimism and completes the dish on time.
Chef Vikas admires her cooking, bringing happy tears to Dipika’s eyes. Farah Khan then asks Dipika why she is crying despite receiving compliments. Dipika explains that she feels emotional because she represents women who have often been judged for their roles at home beyond just cooking. She expresses pride in homemaking and opens up about the challenges of maintaining a work-life balance.
However, not everyone has been supportive. Many people online have criticized her, commenting on the promo and suggesting she should remember she’s not on a TV show like Sasural Simar Ka. Several users trolled her, calling it ‘overacting.’ One user wrote, “Dipika ji, overacting kam kijiye, serial drama scene nahi hai.”
One of the users criticized Dipika Kakar for her overacting in the promo and wrote, “Its literally her personal choice to stay at home! She earns from YT, an established actress still tryna play victim card everytime! What’s w these crying, overacting so irritating”
