Celebrity MasterChef has finally premiered and the first episode was sired on January 27, 2025 on Colors and Jio Cinema. The long-show this time brings together names popular names from the world of TV and social media, who will be showing their culinary skills and competing for the coveted title. Celebs who have participated in the show are Dipika Kakar, Nikki Tamboli, Abhijeet Sawant, Gaurav Khanna, Archana Gautam, Rajiv Adatia, Mr. Faisu Tejasswi Prakash among others. The show is being judged by director-choreographer Farha Khan, Chefs Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna.
First episode of Celebrity MasterChef has generated significant excitement among fans, who are eagerly anticipating the fun banters, intense competition and revelation of the winner. Another aspect that has piqued the audience’s curiosity is the payment structure for the contestants. While the celebrities have not officially disclosed their fees, a report by Telly Talkies provides insight into the possible payment amounts.
Highest Paid Contestants
According to the report, Tejasswi Prakash is the highest-paid contestant, earning between Rs3-4 lakhs per week. As a popular Indian television personality, Tejasswi has gained widespread recognition for her participation in Bigg Boss 15 and her lead role in Naagin 6. Her relationship with Karan Kundrra, whom she met on the sets of Bigg Boss 15, has also kept her in the news.
Following closely behind Tejasswi is Gaurav Khanna, a well-known Indian television actor. He was last seen in the hit show Anupamaa, which boasts high TRPs and is one of the longest-running shows. Gaurav reportedly earns ₹2.5 lakhs per week for his participation in Celebrity MasterChef.
Deepika Kakkar is another popular contestant this season, marking her comeback on television after a significant hiatus. Having gained fame with the popular Colors show Sasural Simar Ka and later appearing in Kahan Hum Kahan Tum, Deepika took a break to focus on her personal life, including her marriage and motherhood. Her return to television has generated considerable buzz on social media, with fans thrilled to see her back on screen. Deepika is reportedly earning between ₹2 lakhs to ₹3 lakhs.
Fees Of Other Contestants
In addition to the top earners, the remaining contestants are also receiving substantial compensation for their participation in Celebrity MasterChef, according to reports.
Nikki Tamboli, who gained widespread recognition after appearing in Bigg Boss 18 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, is reportedly earning around ₹1.5 lakhs per week.
Rajiv Adatia, known for his stint in Bigg Boss 15, is receiving Rs 1 lakh. Archana is being paid Rs 1.5 lakhs, while Usha Nadkarni and Manini Dey are each earning approximately Rs 1 lakh for their participation in the show. Social media influencer and Khatron Ke Khiladi participant Mr Faisu is taking home Rs 2 Lakhs every week for the show.
