The ongoing rumours about Dipika Kakar’s exit from Celebrity MasterChef have finally been confirmed. Veteran actress Usha Nadkarni, who shares the screen with Dipika, recently revealed that the actress had to leave the show due to health issues.
Usha Nadkarni On Dipika’s Exit
Speaking to Aaj Tak’s Saas Bahu Aur Betiyaan, Usha Nadkarni shared that Dipika has been struggling with a health issue affecting her hand. She said, “Dipika ki tabiyat barabar nahi, uska kuch haath ka problem hai. Toh woh barabar nahi kar sakti isliye usne chhodh diya hai.”
Usha further explained that although Dipika initially sought medical attention and returned to the show, her condition worsened, leading to her final decision to quit.
Strong Bonding Among Contestants
Dipika’s exit has disappointed fans, as she was considered a strong contender and had been impressing the judges with her cooking skills. Usha emphasised the close bond among contestants, stating,
“Ek dusre ke saath sabki bonding achchi hai, matlab ek family ho gayi hai.”
While Dipika’s departure is a setback for her supporters, the show continues to surprise viewers. Recently, 90s actress Ayesha Jhulka entered as a wild card contestant, bringing new excitement to the competition.
