In the aftermath of the recent despair of the sudden and tragic death of Shefali Jariwala, Mumbai police have initiated an investigation. It was earlier reported that the ‘Kaanta Laga’ famed actress died of cardiac arrest. For further investigation Mumbai Police have taken he famed actresses remains for Postmortem.
As per media reports, it has been detailed that the actress was rushed to the Hospital by her husband Parag Tyagi and three others. A Hindustan Times report detailed how the reception staff at Mumbai’s Bellevue Hospital reported Shefali Jariwala 42, had died by the time she was brought in.
However, the Mumbai police has reported that the actress was found at her residence in Andheri and the cause behind her death is still unclear.
“Mumbai Police received information about this at 1 am. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. The cause of death is not yet clear” the cops were quoted as saying by news agency ANI
A police team and a forensics team arrived at her home Today. The news of the death was first shared by Vicky Lalwani on social media. A part of his long post read that “ Shefali Jariwala”, the Kaanta Laga Girl, Is No More” Shefali Jariwala was an actress, most popularly known for featuring in the song “kaanta Laga” when she was just 20 years old in 2002. She further worked in several music albums, as well as films since then. She had previously said in an interview that she suffered from Epilepsy and battled it valiantly.
Shefali and her husband were participated in a slew of reality TV shows, this included Nach Baliye 5 and Nach Baliye 7 as well. She also participated in popular reality TV show BigBoss in the 13th season.
Before Parag Tyagi, Shefali was married to Harmeet Singh in 2004, but the couple went through a divorce in 2009.
