Captain America: Brave New World will finally arrive on OTT worldwide after its theatrical run. The movie received mixed response both critically and commercially despite the hype. Anthony Mackie returned as Sam Wilson aka Falcon, who has now taken the role of Captain America after Steve Rogers.

Captain America: Brave New World will release on JioHotstar in India on May 28.
According to the official website of Marvel, the synopsis of Captain America Brave New World reads, “Anthony Mackie returns as the high-flying hero Sam Wilson, who’s officially taken up the mantle of Captain America. After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.”

In India, fans expressed their surprise when one of the character seemed to be inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While speaking to ETimes, director Julius Onah addressed the speculations of the character being designed after PM Modi. He said, “It’s not designed to copy any real-world figures. Everything is in service of making the best movie and telling the most entertaining story possible. And I’m thrilled that I was able to do that with Anthony, Harrison, and this entire crew.”
The movie stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson alongside Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Carl Lumbly, Xosha Roquemore, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Giancarlo Esposito, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford.
After Captain America: Brave New World, Marvel released Thunderbolts* and it has been rebranded as ‘The New Avengers’. The movie stars Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, Wendell Pierce, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
Marvel is now gearing up for the release of The Fantastic Four: The First Steps, which will release in theatres on July 25, 2025.
