Neeraj Gheywan’s directorial ‘Homebound’ is all set to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival 2025. Its team including, Karan Johar, Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa and Janhvi Kapoor, recently made their dream debut at the prestigious event. Their pictures from Cannes 2025 have taken over the social media as netizens can’t stop gushing over their stunning looks.
Janhvi Kapoor looked like a dream in a custom-made skirt and corset crafted by Tarun Tahiliani. The outfit was styled by Rhea Kapoor.
Vishal Jethwa wore an outfit designed by Kaushik Velendra and looked absolutely dapper.
Meanwhile, Ishaan Khatter exuded royal vibes in custom Gaurav Gupta, which has a rich textured maroon velvet jacket. He completed his look with black trousers and black sunglasses.
Karan Johar looked regal in a stellar outfit designed by Manish Malhotra. He wrote, “A custom made @manishmalhotraworld ivory bandhgala with handcrafted tonal thread embroidery & a woven jacquard collar paired with ivory shirt with ruffle detail on collar placket and cuff. The bandhgala is adorned with real @manishmalhotrajewellery buttons, broches and collar pins to enhance the look, like never before!”
Meanwhile, the team of Homebound is at the Cannes 2025 for its screening at Un Certain Regard section. Renowned Hollywood filmmaker Martin Scorsese has also joined the film as its executive producer. He said in the statement, “I have seen Neeraj’s first film Masaan in 2015 and I loved it, so when Melita Toscan du Plantier sent me the project of his second film, I was curious. I loved the story, the culture, and was willing to help. Neeraj has made a beautifully crafted film that’s a significant contribution to Indian Cinema. I am glad the movie is an official selection at Un Certain Regard in Cannes this year.” The movie is produced by Karan Johar and directed by Masaan fame Neeraj Ghaywan.
