BTS member V aka Kim Taehyung is one of the most popular personalities in South Korea and is currently in the military. Despite his absence from the spotlight, the singer is still the talk of the town. According to reports by global influencer analytics platform TOP NINE, V has topped the list of Korean Instagram influencers worldwide in the Music category.
Other BTS members and also all the members of female K-pop band Jisoo, Lisa, Rose and Jennie are also in the list. V is followed by Jin, J-Hope and Jimin in the list. Meanwhile, Lisa is at the fifth spot.

Earlier, V was in the news after he was mentioned in the Most Handsome Korean Actor 2025.
He also received praise after a fellow soldier praised him for supporting him. The soldier wrote, “There were so many things I was thankful for during my military service, but I couldn’t express them in words, so I’m here to convey my sincerity like this.”
“Most of all, thanks to the consistency and passion shown by my brother, I was able to push my dream of becoming a rehabilitation therapist even harder and not give up on my exercise and studies throughout my military career. My military life was more enjoyable because of my brother. I’ll be steady, not giving up, just like you, hyung. Always be healthy, Hyung,” he added.
On the work front, V will reunite with other BTS member after everyone gets discharged from the military. There were earlier rumours of BTS getting disbanded but Jin dismissed them. He said, “The only band I, now and forever, will be part of is BTS. Band music is a genre I’m personally interested in, and I enjoy exploring different styles as a solo artist. But at the end of the day, my roots and connection to music will always be with BTS.”
He earlier released his album ‘Layover’ and also teamed up with singer-actress IU for a music video.
