BTS member RM, aka Kim Namjoon, is celebrating his 31st birthday today and shared some snippets of his small birthday bash with fans on Instagram. He also shared his new look, in which the rapper can be seen sporting blonde hair.
In one of his Instagram stories, RM shared a message for BTS ARMY and wrote, “I miss you.”
Meanwhile, RM also donated 100 million won each to Seoul Asan Medical Centre and Korea University Medical Centre on his birthday. According to The Chosun Daily, he said in a statement, “I decided to donate in the hopes that it would provide a small but warm hope to patients. It’s meaningful to be able to participate, even if only a little, in spreading the value of medical advancement and respect for life.”
Yoon Eul-sik, Vice President of Medical Affairs at Korea University, expressed his gratitude towards RM and said, “RM’s warm heart, striving to create a better world, will be a great help in helping patients regain their health. We will cherish the value of sharing you have shared and do our best to nurture its fruits so that we can grow into an even more trustworthy, ultra-gap medical institution.”
Seoul Asan Medical Centre will reportedly use the donation for underprivileged patients, whereas Korea University Medical Centre will use it to enhance the treatment environment and expand various medical services.
RM was earlier enlisted in the military along with his fellow BTS members. He is currently preparing to make a comeback with his K-pop group.
