New Delhi: Good news for cine-goers. Now you can book Brahmastra tickets for just Rs 75 and no we are not kidding. On the occasion of Cinema Day, the Multiplex Authority of India will offer movie tickets for only Rs 75 across 4000 screens in the country.
The standard rates for movie tickets may vary from Rs 260 to somewhere around 500 in any theatres across the country. If you want to opt for premium seats or recliners, that can cost you around Rs 1000-1500.
So isn’t it a great deal to watch your favourite movies at suck a budget-friendly rate? MAI stated that, “National Cinema Day will bring together audiences of all ages to enjoy a day at the movies. National Cinema Day celebrates the successful reopening of cinemas and is a ‘thank you’ to the moviegoers who made this happen.”
The association took to its Twitter handle and wrote, “Cinemas come together to celebrate ‘National Cinema Day’ on September 16, to offer movies for just Rs 75.”
Multiplex chains like PVR, INOX, Cinepolis, Carnival, Miraj, Citypride, Asia, Mukta A2, Movie Time, Wave, M2K, and Delite agreed to join hands in the celebrations.
How to book the tickets
If you want to avail this offer, you can simply book tickets online or offline. If you visit the cinema hall and buy tickets, you will get them at Rs 75. At the same time, there will be some charges for online tickets. Overall the online ticket will cost you around Rs 100.
