Brahmastra box office day collection Day 1: Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt as the lead actors for the first time, finally screening in the theatres on Friday. Know here how much the film Brahmastra earned at the box office on the first day.
The film turns into the highest opening day in history on a non-holiday for original Hindi content. It has a massive first day as it gathers around Rs 35-36 crore nett in all its versions. This appears to break Ranbir’s greatest opening too far, Sanju, which brought in Rs 34.75 crores on the first day in 2018.
Advance booking numbers gave reason for optimism that the movie, which was released in Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu, may do spectacularly on its opening day. Although Ranbir had previously stated that he couldn’t take the advance booking figures seriously because “till the audience doesn’t see the film, the game doesn’t begin.”
