New Delhi: Ayan Mukerji’s magnum opus Brahmastra is all set to hit the theatres on September 9. Now only two days left, Ayan along with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Singh, visited Ujjain’s Mahakaleshwar Temple.
The trio offered prayers there ahead of Brahmastra’s release. Earlier Ayan visited the temple during the motion poster launch and once again the director along with his lead cast reached the temple to seek blessings. Sharing the picture from the temple, Ayan wrote, “3 DAYS AWAY…🤞🕉💥 Feel very happy and energised to have visited Mahakaleshwar Temple today… Got the most beautiful darshan…Wanted to make this visit to close the film-making journey on Brahmāstra, and to get all the positive energy and blessings for our Release.”

In the picture, Ayan can be seen performing ‘puja’ at the holy shrine. Brahmastra also features, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna in pivotal roles.

The journey of the movie began when Ayan Mukerji, the writer-director, had the idea to make it in 2012 while filming his hugely successful movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
The day before yesterday, the Brahmastra filmmakers gathered in the Mumbai suburbs to watch the complete film for the first time.
Ranbir believes that the number 8 is lucky for them, so director Ayan Mukerji announced in the video that they will be having a special fan screening of “Brahmastra Part-1 Shiva” one day before the movie’s release on September 8. The movie’s special screening is currently only scheduled for Mumbai, where both the star cast and the audience will attend.
