Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt recently interacted with the media during a special meet-and-greet session in Mumbai. During the event, Ranbir revealed a major update about Brahmastra Part Two – Dev, confirming it’s release.
Pre-Production To Begin When?
During the event, Ranbir shared that director Ayan Mukerji is currently focused solely on War 2. However, once the film will be released he will definitely start working on Brahmastra sequeal. “It is definitely happening. We haven’t officially announced much yet, but we will soon share something exciting about Brahmastra 2,” Ranbir said.

Ranbir Kapoor On Working With Sanjay Leela Bhansali
Ranbir also spoke about his upcoming project Love and War, where he will be featured alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal under the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He calls this project a “blessing,” Ranbir expressed his admiration for Sanjay’s deep understanding of characters and emotions.
Apart from the Brahmastra 2 update, Alia Bhatt also confirmed that she will be making her debut at Cannes 2025. The actress celebrated her 32nd birthday with the media, cutting a cake during the event.
Brahmastra’s Success and Fan Expectations
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt was featured together in Brahmastra Part One – Shiva, directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film is featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy, was a massive hit among audiences.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for news about Brahmastra Part Two – Dev.
