On the occasion of Vijay Diwas, the makers of Border 2, T-Series and J.P. Films have unveiled the teaser of the film. Based on the true events of the 1971 India-Pakistan war, the movie aims to pay tribute to the courage, unity and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces.
The teaser gives a powerful first look at the film and introduces its lead stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty showing them in strong roles across the Army, Navy and Air Force.
While sharing the teaser of Border 2 on Instagram, T-Series wrote, “Awaaz kahan tak jaani chahiye… This #VijayDiwas, celebrate the most anticipated teaser of the year. #Border2 | In Cinemas 23rd Jan 2026 Jai Hind.”

About Border 2
Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is a sequel to JP Dutta’s 1997 war epic, set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The original starred Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Puneet Issar, Sudesh Berry, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda.
The sequel brings together a star studded cast including Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Medha Rana, Mona Singh, and Sonam Bajwa. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, and presented by T-Series in association with J.P. Films.
Border 2 will hit theaters on January 23, 2026, during the Republic Day weekend.
