New Delhi: On Saturday morning, the day before actress Sunny Leone’s headline-grabbing event, a bomb detonated near the stage of a fashion show venue in Imphal East.
However, the explosion did not cause any injuries.
The bomb went off close to the show’s stage, whose construction is in progress. It is thought to have been a hand grenade thrown from the southern side of the stadium.
Police, who responded to the scene to assess the situation, opened a case to apprehend the offenders and determine the reason for the bombing.

Just after the explosion, a group of police commandos also began a search operation in the area, but no one was detained.
To promote handloom, Khadi, and tourism in Manipur, the 41-year-old Canadian-American-Indian model and actress from the American film industry and Bollywood is expected to walk the runway at the House of Ali Fashion Show in Imphal as the show-stopper.
The show’s tagline is “Bridal Couture Festive Season Fall Winter collection 2023,” and many people have already purchased tickets to see Sunny, a former p*** star, who will be the main attraction.
