New Delhi: Shaan is ready to make his acting debut now that he has won our hearts with his sultry voice. With the upcoming musical film Music School from director Paparao Biyyala, he will make his acting debut.
Recently, the Music School video was premiered in Mumbai. It not only provided details about the musical experience but also provided peeks of Shaan. Shaan has appeared in front of the camera before for his music videos and other appearances over the years, but Music School is his first movie in which he plays a significant role.
Shaan to make acting debut in the film Music School
Speaking about the film, Shaan said, “When I first began working on a song for Music School, I had no idea I would end up starring in it as well. It so happened that when I was recording the song, the director of the film Paparao Biyyala felt I would be the perfect match for the character they were looking at and proposed the idea to cast me. I had an idea of the story as I was recording the song, but when Paparao sir narrated the script I was instantly on board. It was an extremely beautiful journey shooting for the film, we majorly shot in Goa and it added to the beauty and lively experience. I am extremely thankful to Paparao sir for giving me this opportunity and making me a part of his passion project.”
Shaan sung an original song for Musical School, which will be published this week. He plays an important role in the film, which also stars Shriya Saran and Sharman Joshi.
Music School is a musical depiction of the delicate and pervasive worry of academic pressure imposed on young pupils by society, parents, and teachers. Three of the eleven songs in the film have been remade from The Sound of Music and have been brilliantly weaved into the film to suit the sensibilities of the Indian audience.
