New Delhi: Actor and fitness enthusiast Randeep Hooda is currently shooting for his next movie. Sharing his experience on shooting on the sets of Veer Sarvarkar, Randeep said that, he lost 18 kilograms to fit in the role and the requirements.
Randeep Hooda said that he has given his best to look like the character he’s essaying in the film. Speaking to Bombay Times, the Highway actor said, “I am 18 kilos down already.”

The biopic titled, Swatantra Veer Savarkar, will see Randeep portraying the role of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. The actor also spoke about his love for sports. “In school, I used to do drama and ride horses, and today, I am doing the same thing (laughs). Playing sports is a relief as I have an obsessive personality, so I need another passion to offset my passion for acting or cinema,” he said.
He further added, “Yes, I am able to do these fluctuations with my body because I am inherently a sportsperson. I feel your body should be in an active space because that is what you are. Your body is the only instrument you own.”

Randeep Hooda keeps experimenting with his physical transformations to ace the roles he is chosen for. Earlier, his drastic transformation in the film Sarabjit garnered huge applause. Now for his upcoming project he is undergoing body transformation to look lean. The biopic will be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.
On the work front, Hooda will be seen appearing in Radhe, a Salman Khan film and Unfair & Lovely opposite Ileana D’Cruz, a social satire on fad with fairness. Both the films are slated to be released soon.
